There are numerous support structures for investors in Cambodia, chief among which is the Council for Development of Cambodia, located beside Wat Phnom just above Phnom Penh’s Postal District.
Led by Secretary General Sok Chenda Sophea, the Council exists to promote and facilitate foreign and local private sector investment in Cambodia by providing information, incentives, monitoring, after-care and advocacy services. It can effectively provide a direct link between foreign investors and the Cambodian government.
The information they provide covers a wider range of subjects, from economic and trade trends, to costs of business, taxation, IP, employment and labour, social security, land law, and infrastructure.
